WebLink International Receives $3.5M in Venture Funding

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – June 6, 2008 WebLink International, a leading provider of online software for membership-based organizations, announces today that it has closed a $3.5M round of funding from Blue Chip Venture Company, Carmel, Ind.-based Spring Mill Venture Partners and the newly established HALO Capital Group from Indianapolis.

Founded in 1996, WebLink is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that provides online software to over four hundred membership-based organizations. WebLink clients include the Boston (Mass.) Chamber of Commerce, the Indiana Manufacturers Association, the Arizona Grant Makers Association, the Door County (Wis.) Visitors Bureau, the Gatlinburg (Tenn.) Chamber of Commerce and many of the nation’s top state and metro business association and chambers of commerce. WebLink’s software provides membership-based organizations one simple interface to manage their entire business. The system includes integrated tools for member and relationship management, powerful real-time reporting, robust retention and sales tools, forecasting and financial management, business intelligence, web site creation and hosting, e-commerce and event management.

As part of the financing, Don Aquilano, managing director of Blue Chip Venture Company, David Mann, managing partner with Spring Mill Venture Partners, and successful entrepreneur, Scott Webber from the HALO Capital Group will be joining the board of directors.
