DJ is President of WebLink International, a position he has held since the company's incorporation in 1996. DJ also served as CEO from 1996 to 2011. DJ conceived and developed the company's first product, Chamber WebLink, which was the first web based product designed specifically for chambers of commerce and associations. Under DJ's direction and WebLink's constant software innovation, the company developed WebLinkCONNECT, the first web-based CRM system for chambers of commerce and associations, in 2003. In 2005, Microsoft recognized WebLink's new technical innovations in a case study as one of the best implementations of Microsoft's new .Net smart-client technology.
In 2008, after the successful launch of WebLink's WebLinkCONNECT product into more than 200 markets, DJ raised several million dollars in venture funding, which accelerated WebLink's growth into the chamber of commerce and broader association software market.
As a technology entrepreneur, DJ has designed and developed several highly acclaimed, nationally distributed, software products since his undergraduate years at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud Minnesota.
He launched his first company at 13 years old when he developed student scheduling software for the Apple IIe system. DJ's solution was adopted by several large school systems around the country.
DJ has worked as product development manager for Sooner Micro Systems, where he developed complete administrative applications for the company's primary program, which is currently in use throughout the United States by hundreds of public and private vocational schools.
DJ attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota, majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science. DJ is a frequent speaker at national chamber, association, and technology conferences and guest lecturer at colleges and universities.
DJ lives in Avon, Indiana with his wife and three children.
