Terry Dwyer - Chief Executive Officer

Terry Dwyer joined WebLink in 2010 and serves as CEO. Under Dwyer’s leadership, WebLink has empowered hundreds of trade and professional associations, and more than 650,000 small and medium businesses, to acquire, nurture and retain customers. 

Prior to joining WebLink, he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Author Solutions, Inc., the world leader in self-publishing. In just 30 months he led a tripling of revenues through organic growth and acquisitions.

Dwyer has served in a variety of senior executive positions with publishing, consumer and technology companies. As Chief Operating Officer of Columbia House, the large direct marketer of music and video, he was part of the executive team that did a management buyout of Columbia House with the Blackstone Group in 2002, and sold the company in 2005 to BMG. While CEO at Telstreet.com, an internet reseller of wireless phones and accessories, he raised $11 million, led Telstreet.com to market share leader and sold the company to publicly traded Buy.com.

Dwyer also held a number of positions at Macmillan Publishing, initially as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. During his tenure, Macmillan grew from $60 million to $500 million in revenue. In addition to Sales and Marketing, he was responsible for daily operations, IT, Production, Manufacturing and Fulfillment. In 1998, he became President of the newly formed Macmillan Education and Training division.

Beyond these leadership roles, he has held sales and senior sales positions with IBM, Lotus Development Corporation and consulted for technology companies such as Cha Cha.  Additionally, he acted as interim CEO for Mezzia, a Blue Chip Ventures portfolio company he sold to a strategic buyer.

Terry holds a BA in English from John Caroll University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
