Terry is Chief Executive Officer of WebLink International, a role he has held since February, 2011. Terry joined WebLink in 2010 as the company's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining WebLink, he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Author Solutions, Inc., the leader in independent publishing, headquartered in Bloomington, IN, with operations in Indianapolis, IN; Cebu, Philippines; and Milton Keynes, England. Terry joined ASI in May, 2007, and led a tripling of revenues through organic growth and acquisitions in 30 months.
He has served in a variety of senior executive positions with publishing, consumer and technology companies including Chief Operating Officer of Columbia House, the large direct marketer of music and video. He was part of the executive team that did a management buyout of Columbia House with the Blackstone Group in 2002, and sold the company in 2005 to BMG. Prior to Columbia House, he was CEO of Telstreet.com, an internet reseller of wireless phones and accessories. As CEO, he raised $11 million, led Telstreet.com to market share leader, and sold the company to publicly traded Buy.com.
Terry held a number of positions at Macmillan Publishing, initially as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. During his tenure, Macmillan grew from $60 million to $500 million in revenue. In addition to Sales and Marketing, he was responsible for daily operations, IT, Production, Manufacturing and Fulfillment. In 1998, he became President of the newly formed Macmillan Education and Training division.
Prior to Macmillan, Terry held sales and senior sales positions with IBM and Lotus Development Corporation. Terry has also consulted for technology companies such as Cha Cha, as well as acted as interim CEO for Mezzia, a Blue Chip Ventures portfolio company he sold to a strategic buyer.
Terry holds a BA in English from John Caroll University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He resides in Fishers, Indiana with his wife, Gay, and son, Michael.
