Weblink International Aligns With Two Indiana Chambers To Support And Build
Area Business
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – June 6, 2008 –
WebLink International, a leading provider of online software for
membership-based organizations, announces today the addition of two new area
clients: the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Bloomington Chamber
of Commerce.
Founded in 1996, WebLink International is a software as a service (SaaS)
company that provides Web site development and hosting, member relationship
and financial management, reporting and consultation services to membership
organizations and chambers of commerce across the country. These tools allow
organizations to update information, communicate and show measurable results
to members easily and immediately.
“Benchmarking is an important tool for any chamber,” said Kelley Brown,
director of marketing and public relations at the Greater Bloomington
Chamber of Commerce. “As we studied other chamber Web sites, the ones that
quickly rose to the top were all designed and hosted by WebLink. We even
contacted some of those chambers to find out more about the WebLink process
and experience, and that made the decision to go with WebLink an easy one.”
WebLink maintains a client base of more than 400 organizations, including
the Boston, Portland, Sacramento, Florida and South Carolina chambers of
commerce, and has earned a strong reputation among the chamber community
nationwide. But the company says it especially looking forward to the
opportunity to impact the Indiana business community.
“The great thing about the WebLink product is that it benefits the entire
community,” said WebLink president and CEO DJ Muller. “Yes, the technology
helps connect chambers to their members but it also helps local businesses
by making consumers more aware of their services and providing tools and
advice they need to succeed. It’s grown and changed the business
environments for so many chambers around the country, and we’re eager to see
how we can assist these local communities and bring those great results to
our own state.”
Leaders from both chambers, already impressed with the WebLink’s reputation,
training and customer service, seem to echo this sentiment.
“The most exciting part is the Web component, which is absolutely second
to none,” said Shannon McNett-Silcox, vice president member relations at the
Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce. “We turned to WebLink because we also needed
a lot of horsepower behind our database. We needed to cultivate stronger
relationships with our members and their combined software was the perfect
answer. There’s just no other provider that would allow us to do that in
such a simple and efficient way.”
