Chamber Partners with Industry Expert to Launch Integrate New Website and Membership Management Software

Bay Area Chamber Website

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — July 15, 2010 — The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce in Bay City, MI announces the launch of a new website designed to showcase local businesses and provide important business and visitor information about the community. The fresh look and user-friendly navigation engages visitors with images from throughout the community and allows them to easily find the information they seek.

The new site offers additional benefits to members through increased exposure and additional access to information through a secure login area. The website also features a search-optimized business directory that's designed to maximize members' exposure to search engines and in turn, drive more visitors to their listings on the chambers site.

"We are confident our members will appreciate the many benefits they will have on our new website's Members only area" said Cathy Koebke, Director of Sales and Marketing, Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. "The design of our new website is fantastic! We have the ability to make changes to keep it fresh with new content, and we hope it will drive members to the site so they are fully aware of the Chambers events and their member benefits."

Along with the launch of the new website, the Bay Area's Chamber of commerce also partnered with WebLink International to implement new member management software. WebLink works with more than 500 chambers of commerce and business associations across the United States and is the leading provider of websites and membership software to chambers.

WebLink’s integrated website and software is tailored to improve the efficiency of the chamber while providing benefits to its members and the surrounding community.

"Words cannot express how excited our Chamber staff is about the ease of use with WebLink's software" added Koebke. "With our first couple of weeks of usage, we have already saved a lot of time with fewer steps needed to create reports, mailing labels and more."
