WebLink Customers Recognized By ACCE as the Top Chambers

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — August 12, 2010 — WebLink International, a leading provider of association database software for associations, announced that two clients were recognized for their excellence in the chamber industry.

The American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) announced the winners of the 2010 Chamber of the Year award at their annual convention in Milwaukee. Two out of the eight finalists and one out of the four winners are WebLink International clients.

The ACCE's Chamber of the Year award is the nation's only award recognizing the dual role chambers of commerce have in creating both leading businesses and communities.

These chambers have demonstrated their success in community leadership and organizational strength by being among the top in the nation for financial and membership growth as well as making a demonstrable impact on key community priorities in areas like economic opportunities, education, transportation, healthcare, and cultural vitality.

Chambers from across the United States were qualified to enter the Chamber of the Year competition by meeting or beating the national average or median for their dues income level in four of these seven points: net income, current ratio, net assets, net assets as a percentage of total annual expenses, net gain in membership sales dollars, retained members dollars, retained member accounts.

2010 marks the third year in a row that WebLink clients have been recognized as Chamber of the Year. In 2008, the Lubbock, Texas Chamber received the honor in the $500,000 - $1 million dues income level. In 2009, the Bowling Green, Kentucky Chamber won Chamber of the Year in the $900,001 - $2,000,000 total revenue category and the Nashville TN Area Chamber won the award for the $2,000,001 and up revenue category.
