eHealth and WebLink can help membership organizations such as Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce provide a great value to your member businesses!
Thanks for the guest blog, eHealth! They are an Executive Sponsor at the 2017 WebLink Summit and you can learn more by visiting their booth.
Under the Affordable Care Act, only businesses with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees (FTE) must provide health insurance to at least 95% of their full-time employees and dependents up to age 26, or pay a fee. Businesses with fewer employees aren’t required to provide coverage. But even if the law doesn’t require a business to provide health insurance, there is still very good reason to do so.
As a Trade Association or Chamber of Commerce, you should educate and guide your members toward providing health insurance to their employees. Access to health insurance promotes a healthy workforce, and a healthy workforce is a productive workforce. This is an objective that is vitally linked to your mission to serve your industry or community.
eHealth and WebLink are jointly creating solutions that can help your Trade Association or Chamber of Commerce provide a wide range of plan options at competitive prices as a membership benefit. This can be a HUGE and unique membership value. Through these solutions, your organization can give your members access to hundreds of healthcare providers and plans – often ones that would normally only be available to very large companies that have more leverage and buying power. Talk about incentive for joining your organization as a member!
